Stellenbeschreibung

About us JUNA is on a mission to #electrifyroadfreight. Founded in

2023, we’ve had a strong start and have already deployed a

significant fleet of heavy-duty electric trucks in Europe. Our

innovative business model makes it easy and low-risk for carriers to

shift to electric logistics by offering electric trucks as a service,

a flexible pay-per-kilometer pricing structure, and access to

guaranteed utilization from large shippers. As a joint venture between

industry leaders Scania and sennder, JUNA gives customers access to

premium electric trucks and reliable revenue through access to

priority green freight. Your mission As JUNA’s (Senior) Finance

Manager, you will own the full reporting cycle across our European

entities — ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of

financial information as we scale. You’ll work closely with external

accounting partners in multiple countries and oversee monthly

shareholder reporting. Take ownership & drive the month-end closing

process by preparing and reviewing key accounting information and

collaborating closely with external accountants to finalize the

monthly financial records. Prepare monthly accruals. Support in

preparing monthly shareholder reporting (e.g. OPEX, Vehicle P&L).

Manage communications with external accounting offices in Italy,

Netherlands, Poland, Belgium, France, and Spain. Assist external

accountants with preparation of annual reports and third-party audits.

Prepare & issue client invoices, track payment status and proactively

follow up on overdue payments. Continuously improve, streamline and

automate finance processes to drive scalability of the finance

function. What That Looks Like In the first 3–6 months: Ramp Up

Quickly: Become fully onboarded into JUNA’s finance systems and

tools, building a solid understanding of our entity structure and

reporting flows. Own Core Processes: Independently complete your first

solo month-end close accurately and on time. Build Key Relationships:

Establish reliable, trust-based working relationships with our

external accounting offices across Europe. After 12 months: Seamless

Collaboration: Work in sync with external accounting teams across all

JUNA entities, ensuring smooth coordination and minimal friction.

Trusted Owner: Be recognized as a proactive, reliable owner of the

full reporting cycle and balance sheet — the go-to person for

financial accuracy and compliance. Process Champion: Have identified

and implemented improvements to finance workflows, contributing

meaningfully to JUNA’s operational scalability. Your profile What

you bring: Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field,

coupled with 7+ years of professional experience in a relevant role.

Comfort working with external accounting partners across multiple

jurisdictions. Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems;

experience with consolidation tools is a plus. Professional fluency in

English required; German at B2 level or above. Who you are: Sharp and

detail-oriented — you catch errors before they become problems and

take pride in numerical accuracy. Proactive and structured — you

manage your workload independently and flag issues early rather than

waiting to be asked. Reliable under deadlines — you understand that

close cycles have hard stops and you plan accordingly. Analytical

mindset — you don’t just process numbers, you understand what they

mean and can explain variances clearly. Collaborative spirit — you

work well with external partners and internal stakeholders across

different countries and functions. Bonus points if you have:

Experience with multi-entity set-up. Exposure to scaling finance

functions in a startup or fast-growth environment. Familiarity with

IFRS in addition to HGB. Experience with MOSS, Zoho Books and Atlar.

Why us? Leadership and Innovation: Work with a pioneering team

dedicated to transforming road logistics and contributing to a

sustainable future. Autonomy and Impact: We value innovation and give

you the freedom to grow in our team to make a significant impact.

Sustainability: Join a company where your work directly contributes to

reducing carbon emissions in logistics. Benefits: Join a great team

in our dog-friendly, hybrid work model with an office located at the

heart of Kreuzberg, where you’ll enjoy a relaxed, no-micromanagement

culture, regular company events, access to Urban Sports Club and L&D

budget, and an office stocked with snacks and drinks to keep you

energized. Our Company Values Think outside the truck: challenge the

internal-only status quo, prototype fast. Impact, not activity: cut

through noise, prioritize what actually matters. Own it: end-to-end

roadmap ownership, no safety net. Collaboration drives the core: daily

work with engineers, CEO, and CTO. Customer in the driver's seat:

internal or external, understand what they need. --- At JUNA, we value

authenticity, humility, and potential — so even if you don’t check

every box, we encourage you to apply. We know that diverse

backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences are what drive true

innovation. Our team is collaborative, international, and always

evolving. Come as you are — we’re excited to meet you and

hopefully welcome you on our journey to transform the logistics

industry across Europe. If you require accommodation during the hiring

process, please don’t hesitate to reach out to

mikaela.roennkvist@juna.com. Please only contact this email for

accommodation purposes.
