Director / Sr Director / Vice President Business Development – US North East (gn)

Your mission

• Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to expand Proteros' market presence on the East Coast
• Growing current business, identifying and developing new business opportunities with pharmaceutical and biotech companies, leveraging a deep industry network.
• Foster and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders to drive strategic partnerships across stand-alone and integrated businesses.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment with Proteros' goals and objectives, facilitating cross-functional cooperation.
• Lead high-level negotiations and close deals that drive significant revenue growth.
• Represent Proteros at major industry events, conferences, and meetings to enhance brand visibility and network with industry leaders.

Your profile

• Minimum of 10 years of business development experience, ideally with 5 years’ expertise in the CRO industry.
• Proven track record of successful sales and territory management experience within the CRO space.
• Degree in a life science-related field.
• Extensive network within the biotech and pharmaceutical industries, with ability to leverage these connections to sign business.
• Deep understanding of early drug discovery processes, structural biology, proteins, biologics, biophysics, and integrated programs through.
• Demonstrated success in developing and executing effective business development strategies.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to build and sustain strong professional relationships.
• Highly self-motivated, result-driven, and capable of working independently.
• Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally (Munich, Germany)
