Croom Concrete Ltd is seeking experienced Steel Fixers to join its team in Croom, Co. Limerick. The successful candidates are responsible for preparing, positioning and securing steel reinforcement used in reinforced concrete products and structures in accordance with technical drawings and specifications.

Main Responsibilities: Reading and interpreting reinforcement drawings and bar schedules; measuring, cutting, bending and positioning reinforcing steel; assembling and securing steel reinforcement using appropriate tying and fixing methods; installing reinforcement cages, mesh and steel bars to the required dimensions and specifications; checking alignment, spacing and positioning prior to concrete placement; working with production and construction teams to ensure reinforcement requirements are met; and following all workplace health and safety procedures.

Applicants should have relevant steel fixing experience, good knowledge of reinforcement techniques and drawings, strong practical skills, and the ability to work accurately and efficiently as part of a team.
