Pastry Chef

Location: Co. Leitrim

Salary: €33,000 gross per annum

Start Date: Immediate / Negotiable

Accommodation: Optional staff accommodation at €500 per month, all-inclusive, for the first 6 months( if needed for relocation)

Staff Meals: Provided during working hours

Tips: Additional earnings through gratuities

Contract: Full-Time

The Role

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Cafe/Restaurant in Co.Leitrim

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing a range of high-quality pastries, desserts, cakes and baked products while maintaining excellent standards of presentation, consistency and food safety.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and produce pastries, desserts, cakes and baked products.

Maintain consistently high standards of quality and presentation.

Support menu development and introduce new pastry and dessert ideas.

Manage preparation and production efficiently.

Maintain excellent food hygiene and HACCP standards.

Monitor stock, ingredients and minimise food waste.

Work closely with the wider kitchen and café team.

Ideal Candidate

Previous professional pastry/bakery experience.

Strong pastry and dessert preparation skills.

Good attention to detail and presentation.

Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Reliable, organised and comfortable working in a busy environment.

Good English communication skills.
