Shipyard Painter / Sandblaster

**Mandatory Requirements:**

• Applicants must have the right to work in Finland.
• Proven experience in abrasive blasting (sandblasting) of steel surfaces.
• Practical experience working in tanks, reservoirs, and other confined spaces.
• Hands-on experience with industrial painting, including:
• Brush application;
• Roller application;
• Airless spray application, ensuring the specified dry film thickness (DFT) is achieved in accordance with the coating specification. 1. Ability to properly prepare and mix coating materials in accordance with the manufacturer's technical data sheets and application instructions. 2. Good knowledge of industrial painting terminology and coating application processes. 3. Ability to identify and perform different surface preparation grades in accordance with applicable industry standards. 4. Experience using coating inspection equipment. 5. Understanding of quality requirements for surface preparation and the application of protective coating systems. 6. Good physical condition and no medical restrictions preventing work in confined spaces, at heights, or while wearing personal protective equipment (PPE). **Preferred Qualifications:**
• Experience working at shipbuilding or ship repair yards.
• Knowledge of **ISO 8501** surface preparation standards.
• Experience applying epoxy, polyurethane, and other industrial protective coating systems.
