Senior Data Analyst

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will play a key role in helping H&M make better decisions through data. You will work closely with business stakeholders, product teams, engineers and fellow data professionals to turn complex questions into actionable insights that drive measurable business impact.

You will lead analytical initiatives from problem definition through delivery, combining technical expertise with strong business understanding and stakeholder engagement.

Lead end-to-end analytical projects and initiatives that support strategic business goals

Translate complex business challenges into structured analytical approaches and recommendations

Define, measure and follow up on KPIs to support product, business and customer outcomes

Explore and analyse large datasets to identify opportunities, risks and trends

Deliver insights and recommendations that influence decision-making at different levels of the organisation

Partner closely with stakeholders to understand needs, challenge assumptions and identify new data opportunities

Contribute to the development of data products, reporting solutions and analytical frameworks

Promote best practices in analytics, data storytelling and insight generation

Mentor and support other analysts while contributing to a strong data community

WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

You will collaborate with a broad network of stakeholders across H&M, including Product Managers, Business Experts, Engineers, Data Scientists, Data Engineers, business leaders and other analysts.

As a trusted partner, you will help teams across functions use data to make informed decisions and deliver value for customers and colleagues.

WHO YOU ARE

We are looking for people with…

Several years of experience in data analytics, business analytics or a similar field

Strong SQL skills and experience working with large and complex datasets

Experience with Python, R or similar analytical programming languages

Experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI

Strong knowledge of statistics and analytical methodologies

Experience translating business requirements into analytical solutions

Experience defining and measuring KPIs and performance metrics

Experience leading analytical initiatives and working independently in complex environments

A degree in Statistics, Engineering, Business, Economics or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

Comfortable influencing and advising stakeholders at different organisational levels
