Indian / South Indian Chef Restaurant

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Indian / South Indian Chef to join our restaurant team.

Responsibilities

Prepare authentic Indian and South Indian dishes to a high standard.

Prepare dosa, idli, sambar, chutneys, curries, biryani and other traditional dishes.

Maintain consistent taste, quality and presentation.

Manage food preparation and kitchen operations efficiently.

Follow food safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards.

Monitor ingredients and minimize food waste.

Work effectively with the kitchen team during busy service periods.

Requirements

Previous experience as an Indian or South Indian Chef.

Strong knowledge of South Indian cuisine and cooking techniques.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Good understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety.

Reliable, organized and able to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
