About the position

As a Registered Nurse, you will have a varied workday caring for patients with different needs in both home care services and institutional care settings.

Typical responsibilities include:

Providing daily nursing care and professional follow-up to patients in home care services and/or institutional care

Observing, assessing, and documenting patients’ health conditions

Medication administration and treatment in accordance with applicable guidelines and regulations

Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, family members, and multidisciplinary teams

Contributing to quality improvement initiatives and the development of local routines and patient care pathways

The position involves shift work, including day, evening, and weekend shifts. You will have a significant level of professional responsibility and will work both independently and closely with other professional groups. High-quality, safe patient care is at the heart of everything, while maintaining a positive working environment built on collaboration, well-being, and good humor.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is professionally engaged, responsible, and enjoys working both independently and as part of a team.

Authorization as a registered nurse in an EU or EEA country

Good communication skills in English and willingness to learn Norwegian

Valid police clearance and health certificate including tuberculosis and MRSA before starting

Valid driver’s licence (Class B)

Professionally engaged and responsible

Strong teamwork and adaptability skills

Experience from elderly care, home care services, or rehabilitation is an advantage
