Chief Technology Officer

Role Overview

We are seeking an execution-driven Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our technical strategy and next-generation data center design, quality ensure solution delivery, and enable excellence across all customer engagements by translating business needs into scalable and competitive technical solutions

The CTO will serve as the company’s primary technical authority collaborating closely with sales, construction, and operations while enabling effective knowledge transfer across the organization. This role combines hands-on customer engagement with leadership of technical experts and strategic oversight of both design and execution.

As a key member of the leadership team, the CTO will drive customer success while shaping and delivering the company’s long-term technical vision and capabilities to support sustainable growth and business value creation.

Key Responsibilities

Shape and evolve the company’s long-term technology vision by translating market trends, emerging technologies, and customer needs into future-ready data center design including project brief handover to construction team

Serve as the company’s technical authority, translating market and commercial needs into EcoDC technical design and solutions

Support customer engagements from early-stage discussions through solution definition, ensuring a seamless transition from sales to construction and operations

Act as a trusted advisor to internal and external stakeholders, bridging sales, construction, and operations while fostering strong cross-functional collaboration

Build and scale a high-performing technical organization, including technical sales and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across key domains (power, cooling, connectivity, energy, etc.), while leading and coordinating external contractors and consultants. Drive the development and transformation of scalable processes, structural capital, and ways of working to enable efficient growth, continuous improvement, and consistent, high-quality delivery

Partner closely with the Construction Organization to improve delivery efficiency, driving process and design optimization initiatives that reduce build times and enhance execution quality

Define and develop technical standards across projects, ensuring alignment with construction teams while setting requirements for sourcing, vendor selection, and negotiations

Oversee power strategy on site, substation and individual data center strategy

Represent the company as a thought leader at industry events

Serve as a trusted technical interface with investors and key stakeholders

Candidate Profile

Extensive senior leadership experience (e.g., CTO, VP Design/Engineering, Head of Infrastructure) within the data center, colocation, or critical infrastructure sector

Strong track record in developing next-generation data center design, delivering complex solutions, and driving operational excellence

Deep technical expertise across critical infrastructure domains, including power distribution (UPS, PDU), cooling systems (CRAC/CRAH), network architecture

Strategic thinker with the ability to balance long-term vision and hands-on execution

Proven experience in customer enagements at C-level, with a track record of supporting complex, project high-value sales cycles

Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to align technology strategy with business goals and market opportunities

Recognized thought leader who is innovative and forward-thinking, with strong awareness of industry trends and technology evolution

Demonstrated success in building, leading, and scaling high-performing technical teams

Exceptional collaborator with the ability to drive alignment and execution across internal teams and external stakeholders, leveraging a strong and well-established industry network across customers, partners, and suppliers.

Master’s degree (MSc) in engineering, computer science, or a related field
