About the Role

You will lead engine development projects focused on future ICE and hybrid drivetrain solutions in a complex automotive environment. The role sits at the intersection of engineering, manufacturing, quality, procurement, finance, sales, suppliers, and external customers, where clear direction and strong coordination are crucial. From early planning to build and test activities, you will help keep the project moving, manage changes, and create the structure needed for sound decisions. This is a strong opportunity if you want to influence technically demanding projects with broad business impact.

Job DescriptionYou will create, maintain, and drive the project plan based on agreed scope, milestones, and build and test plans.

You will lead project information and progress review meetings and coordinate work across sub-project leaders in different engine system areas.

You will follow up on status, time, cost, and quality, and summarize progress in reports and gate material.

You will identify, manage, and escalate technical deviations, project risks, and dependency issues to relevant stakeholders.

You will support decision-making around concept changes and scope adjustments while helping minimize technical risks.

You will secure the right content for each build series and act as the key interface toward customer representatives and internal stakeholders.

You will take ownership of the project budget by reviewing spend rate, approving costs, and balancing targets for cost, time, and quality.

RequirementsUniversity degree or equivalent technical education within engineering.

Experience from automotive industry and product development.

5-10 years of proven experience from project leadership, technical coordination, or similar leading roles in an engineering environment.

Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

You are comfortable driving structured cross-functional collaboration in complex engineering projects.

Nice to haveAdditional language skills in an international project environment.
