Are you an experienced Prosthetist & Orthotist with expertise in lower-limb prosthetics

We are currently recruiting, on behalf of a client, a Senior Prosthetist & Orthotist for a leading university hospital in Western Sweden.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly specialized clinical environment where patient care, innovation, and professional development go hand in hand. You will work alongside skilled multidisciplinary teams and contribute to improving the quality of life for patients requiring advanced prosthetic solutions.

About the role

As a Prosthetist & Orthotist, you will be responsible for the assessment, fitting, and follow-up of patients requiring orthopaedic technical devices, with a particular focus on lower-limb prosthetics. You will work closely with technicians, physicians, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide individualized solutions tailored to each patient's needs.

The position offers exposure to a broad range of patient cases, including complex and highly specialized prosthetic care, while also providing opportunities to contribute to clinical development, innovation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Holds an EU-recognized Bachelor's Degree in Prosthetics & Orthotics (BSc).

Has at least 2 years of clinical experience as a Prosthetist & Orthotist.

Has solid experience in the assessment, fitting, and follow-up of lower-limb prostheses.

Demonstrates strong clinical skills and a patient-centred approach.

Is comfortable working both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Has excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Is interested in contributing to the ongoing development of clinical services, innovation, and patient care.

Experience in a university hospital or highly specialized clinical setting is considered an advantage.
