Site Engineer

Responsibilities

Acts as the main technical advisor on construction sites, supervising staff, tools, and materials to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Interpret technical designs, set out site layouts, provide technical advice, and enforce safety regulations.

Setting out, leveling, and surveying the site to establish building locations, grades, and elevations, ensuring all structural work follows design plans.

Overseeing daily construction activities, managing subcontractors, and coordinating materials and labor to meet project goals.

Providing technical solutions to site issues and conducting quality assurance inspections to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.

Enforcing safety protocols, conducting safety audits, and ensuring compliance with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations.

Maintaining accurate project documentation, such as site diaries, daily progress reports, and change orders.

Requirements

Min Degree in Civil Engineering or related field

Min 3 years of relevant experience in geotechnical works and site supervision

Experience in pipe jacking, tunnelling, or mining works preferred

Knowledge of safety regulations and geotechnical construction standards
