Store Staff & Admin (Japanese Speaking)

Monthly Salary: Up to S$5,500 / month (Negotiable)

Working Address: Orchard

Working Hours: 44 hours/week, 5 days

Client Overview:

Our client is a Singapore-based lifestyle and retail company managing premium and niche brands. They focus on luxury, lifestyle and resale products; offering high-quality, curated experiences and engaging content to customers who value quality and style.

Responsibilities and Duties

Welcome and assist customers with inquiries and service guidance.

Receive buy-in items; support documentation, tagging and processing.

POS/Cashier operations, sales reconciliation, and payment processing.

General administrative tasks: scheduling, filing, data entry, and email correspondence.

Inventory management and stockroom organisation.

Coordinate and report with Japan HQ.

Qualification & Requirements

Required

• Business-level Japanese proficiency, OR relevant experience in the second-hand / pre-owned goods industry.

(Japanese is required for direct liaison with the Japan headquarters, including reporting, item verification and correspondence conducted in Japanese. Candidates with second-hand goods industry experience may be considered for roles where Japan HQ liaison is not required.)

Preferred

• Experience in customer service, retail or administrative roles.
• Interest in luxury or pre-owned goods (training provided for newcomers).

Other Requirements

• Accuracy and attention to detail in cash handling and POS reconciliation.
• Ability to handle customer personal information with confidentiality, in line with PDPA requirements.
