Senior/Buyer (Semiconductor, East Region)

Responsibilities

Manage commodities related to consumables, MRO, spare parts, and assigned projects.

Negotiate with suppliers on specifications, quality, pricing, delivery, and terms.

Review new material/part requests and set up items in ERP material master if needed.

Evaluate and onboard new suppliers in coordination with stakeholders.

Plan material requirements to ensure timely procurement and inventory efficiency.

Monitor and investigate trends or unusual usage patterns.

Issue and follow up on purchase orders to ensure prompt delivery.

Ensure adherence to company procurement policies and strategy.

Coordinate with internal/external parties on quality and supply issues, including line fallouts.

Handle supplier claims and corrective actions, ensuring timely closure.

Communicate changes in products, suppliers, services, or specifications with stakeholders.

Requirements

Minimum degree in Engineering, Supply chain management or equivalent.

At least 2 years of related work experience.

Experienced in forecasting demand, scheduling production, and ensuring timely availability of materials.
