Resident Engineer (M&E)

Job Description

Lead M&E site supervision activities for major building construction, utilities installation, and testing & commissioning works.

Monitor, supervise, and inspect construction works in accordance with requirements from the Client, QP(MEP), consultants, and facility owners.

Coordinate MEP works across multiple disciplines to ensure smooth project execution and timely issue resolution.

Maintain and manage interface registers, evidence logs, and documentation related to integration and interfacing matters.

Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, statutory requirements, and construction procedures.

Prepare and review site records, progress reports, and technical documentation.

Promote and uphold workplace safety, quality, and engineering best practices on site.

Job Requirements

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering recognized by the Professional Engineers Board (PEB) Singapore.

Minimum 8 years of relevant M&E engineering experience, including at least 5 years in site supervision of similar projects.

Experience in major building construction projects, utilities services installation, testing, and commissioning works.

Strong knowledge of statutory codes, site supervision requirements, quality control procedures, construction administration, and progress reporting.

Proven leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead site supervision teams.

Proficient in coordinating MEP interfaces and managing multidisciplinary integration issues.

Experience maintaining interface registers, evidence logs, and related project documentation.
