Staff Nurse / Registered Nurse (Cannulation / Portacath)

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care to oncology patients, includingpatient assessment, education, and symptom management.

Prepare patients for consultation and treatment,including blood collection, specimen handling, medication dispensing, andchemotherapy/blood transfusion administration.

Monitor patients during treatment, respond toemergencies, and assist oncologists during procedures and examinations.

Coordinate patient care with the multidisciplinary team,maintain accurate clinical documentation, and follow up on investigationresults.

Manage medical consumables, coordinate equipmentmaintenance, and support quality improvement or clinical research activities.

Requirements

Minimum Diploma

At least 3 years of relevant experience

Must be competent in cannulation and Port-a-Cath (Portacath) access/care
