Job Summary

Job Title: Senior/ Mechanical Engineer

Industry: Semiconductor / Electronics Testing Equipment

Location: Serangoon, Singapore

Working Hours: 5-day work week, 8:30AM–5:30PM

Salary Package: AWS + Performance Bonus

Key Responsibilities

Working with System Engineers to define mechanical system and sub-system design specifications.

Designing and developing precision mechanical systems for advanced semiconductor equipment.

Handling component selection, tolerance analysis, motion system design, and component evaluation.

Supporting system integration, equipment assembly, validation, and release to manufacturing.

Leading and supervising internal or external design partners during co-development projects.

Managing vendors and contractors to ensure sub-systems meet design, performance, and reliability requirements.

Providing technical escalation support during equipment assembly, validation, and customer-site deployment.

Supporting the full engineering lifecycle from concept and design through system integration and deployment.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

3+ years of experience in semiconductor equipment, automation products, or related industries.

Experience in wafer fabrication, semiconductor equipment, or medical equipment is preferred.

Strong knowledge of mechanical design, tolerance stack-up, FEA, and problem-solving.

SolidWorks or equivalent CAD software is a MUST.

Experience with vision applications, thermal modelling, calculations, and measurement techniques is an advantage.

Willing to be hands-on during the equipment development cycle.

Strong communication and cross-cultural collaboration skills.

Willing to work extended hours during critical project phases.
