Job Summary

Support the Safety Manager in enforcing health, safety, and environmental standards on construction projects to ensure compliance with statutory and aerodrome safety requirements.

Responsibilities

Assist the Safety Manager in managing safety, health, environmental, and welfare matters to ensure project compliance with statutory obligations and aerodrome safety standards

Implement health, safety, and environmental controls to ensure all work follows established procedures and instructions

Coordinate with stakeholders, authorities, agencies, and consultants to support safety management activities

Prepare and submit daily situation reports to track safety performance and incidents

Conduct daily inspections of health, safety, and environmental conditions on-site, document findings, and coordinate with Project Safety Team and contractors to resolve issues

Investigate accidents and near-miss incidents, document findings accurately on relevant forms

Wear appropriate personal protective equipment and strictly follow all safety procedures

Implement and monitor safety measures in compliance with the Workplace Health and Safety Act and Safety Management System

Identify and highlight training or certification needs to meet legislative standards, Approved Codes of Practice, or H.S.E. guidance

Required competencies and certifications

Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer with MOM (Ministry of Manpower)

Experience developing Risk Management Implementation Plans (bizSAFE Level 2) or equivalent

Preferred competencies and qualifications

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the construction industry & LTA, preferably 2 years with a developer or main contractor
