Laboratory Assistant Manager (Biomedical & Clinical Lab) | Up to $6,500 Salary

Key Accountabilities:

·        Coordinates the daily activities and supervises the execution of the work.

·        Planning in the laboratory.

·        Supervision of compliance with the safety rules within the department.

·        Monitors the operation of the equipment.

·        Acts as the point of contact for the Laboratory Technicians and Laboratory Management.

·        Daily activities are coordinated, questions are answered and problems are solved.

·        The quality of work within the department is monitored to ensure that they meet the standards.

·        Solves more complex problems.

·        Monitor Analytical and post analytical issues related to samples including investigation and remediation of the same.

·        Proposals made to optimize work processes and procedures and work regulations have been drawn up.

Requirement

Minimum 8-10 years’ work experience in a central lab or clinical laboratory.

·        Control of MS Office and the Software packages of the devices at the laboratory.

·        Use of Biorad URT / similar application.

·        Troubleshooting related to assay, QC or PT failures.
