Service Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Attend customer sites for installation, testing, commissioning, servicing, and troubleshooting of electrical switchboards.

Inspect switchboards and electrical equipment before installation and commissioning.

Carry out testing of switchboards, including insulation resistance, continuity, protection, control, and functional tests.

Perform commissioning and ensure switchboards operate according to approved drawings and specifications.

Troubleshoot electrical faults and identify the root cause of problems.

Carry out repair, replacement, modification, and maintenance works when required.

Assist with site installation and ensure work is carried out according to drawings and project requirements.

Prepare service reports, testing reports, commissioning records, and site documentation.

Report site issues, defects, and required corrective actions to the relevant departments.

Coordinate with Engineering and Production teams to resolve manufacturing or technical issues.

Provide technical support and guidance to customers when required.

Ensure all site work complies with safety requirements and company procedures.

Ensure service jobs are completed safely, correctly, and within the required schedule.
