Sales Engineer – Technical Solutions (Energy Industry) / North

Our client is a growing organisation in the Technical Energy Solutions industry. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to join their team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in North area.

Job Responsibilities:

Manage and strengthen relationships with existing and potential customers to understand their needs and business requirements.

Identify new markets, customers and business opportunities to expand the company’s presence.

Recommend suitable technical solutions and prepare customised proposals based on customer requirements.

Prepare quotations, tenders and commercial proposals with the relevant technical and financial information.

Conduct sales presentations and solution briefings to effectively communicate product and service offerings.

Develop and monitor sales plans, track business progress and follow up on opportunities to drive revenue growth.

Work closely with internal teams to coordinate customer requirements and ensure smooth project execution.

Support contract discussions and negotiations with customers where required.

Follow up on customer enquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain a positive customer experience.

Develop new business and achieve assigned sales targets through effective customer engagement.

Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

Min Diploma in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.

Minimum  2 years of experience  in technical sales, sales engineering, business development or a similar role.

Exposure to  tendering and project management  will be an added advantage.

Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and customer relationship skills.

Knowledge of  DWG / AutoCAD  is an advantage.

Willing to travel to customer sites when required.
