R&D Lab Technician (Chemical Mfg)

The Role

Reporting directly to the R&D Manager, you will support the scientific team in the development, testing, and scale-up of new products.

Key responsibilities:

Preparing developmental samples and conducting product performance testing.

Operating and performing routine maintenance on laboratory equipment.

Managing chemical inventory, storage, and laboratory consumables.

Collecting data to organize and issue formal, professional reports using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Performing hands-on laboratory work while strictly adhering to safety protocols and wearing required personal protective equipment.

Requirements

A Diploma or Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Science, or a related technology field.

Prior relevant experience; a background in the coating, paint, or adhesive industries is highly advantageous.

Demonstrated familiarity with handling chemicals and raw materials.
