Purchasing Assistant (Changi / No experience)

Responsibilities

Source, evaluate, and manage suppliers to secure quality products and services at competitive prices.

Process RFQs, evaluate quotations, conduct price comparisons, and negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and contract terms.

Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) promptly while monitoring order fulfilment and delivery timelines.

Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment activities to support operational and project requirements.

Verify supplier invoices against supporting documents, including PRs, POs, and DOs, before submitting approved invoices for payment processing.

Coordinate logistics, shipment arrangements, and deliveries from local and overseas suppliers.

Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, and documentation in accordance with company procedures and ISO standards.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders, suppliers, vendors, and contractors to ensure smooth procurement operations.

Support additional procurement and administrative duties assigned by Management.

Requirements

Diploma in Supply Chain, Business Administration or any relevant field.

1-2 years of procurement/purchasing experience strongly preferred (preferably within the Construction/ Engineering industry); candidates with no relevant experience are welcomed to apply too.

Good understanding of procurement and purchasing processes.

Experience in supplier sourcing, quotation evaluation, price negotiation, and purchase order management is an advantage.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and procurement-related systems.
