Job Description:

Position: Airport Ramp Services Operator

Company: Well-established public-listed multinational provider of integrated aviation services

Work Schedule: 6 Days Work Week / Rotating Shifts

Basic Salary: From $2,100 (commensurate with experience)

Shift Allowance: Average $270 per month

Joining Bonus: $5,000

Annual Benefits: AWS + Variable Performance Bonus

Experience: No prior experience required; comprehensive training will be provided.

Main Responsibilities:

Operate and conduct pre-flight checks on ground support equipment (GSE), including JCPLs, skyloaders, tractors, and transporters.

Safely position and operate aerobridges or passenger steps in accordance with airline and safety requirements.

Assist with the loading and unloading of baggage, cargo, and mail, ensuring all loads are properly secured and verified against relevant documentation.

Inspect cargo, ULDs, and aircraft compartments for damages, leakages, or other irregularities, and report findings to the Ramp Loading Officer (RLO).

Ensure the safe and proper use of GSE and other equipment during aircraft handling operations.

Return equipment to designated parking areas and promptly report any equipment defects, incidents, or safety concerns.

Support the Ramp Loading Officer (RLO) and ground handling team in maintaining safe, efficient operations and achieving on-time performance (OTP).

Requirements

Minimum GCE “N” Level qualification.

No prior experience required; comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided.

Possess a valid Class 3 driving licence.

Able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Comfortable working outdoors and on rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays where required.

Physically fit and comfortable with walking long distances and climbing steps while carrying equipment.

Able to work effectively in a fast-paced airport environment and as part of a team.
