Mechanical Design Engineer (Tooling & Molding injection) - VTTO

Our client is a well-established MNC specializing in advanced semiconductor and manufacturing technology solutions. They are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their R&D Manufacturing team to develop high-precision mechanical modules for advanced semiconductor packaging applications.

Working Hours:

Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:30pm (Flexible Working Hours)

Job Responsibilities

Design and develop high-precision mechanical modules and tooling for semiconductor applications

Create 3D models, perform design validation, and optimize designs for manufacturability, reliability, and cost

Conduct engineering analysis including force, thermal, and vibration simulations

Collaborate with R&D, Process, and Manufacturing teams to support new product development

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product performance and manufacturing efficiency

Requirements

Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or a related discipline

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in the precision engineering, tooling, plastic injection moulding, or semiconductor industry

Strong experience in plastic injection moulding and tooling design is highly preferred

Proficient in CAD software such as SolidWorks, Solid Edge, Pro-E, or AutoCAD

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
