EHS Coordinator

Job scope:

Responsiblefor ensuring facility is in compliance with all applicable EHS legalrequirements, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 requirements, and corporate operationalrequirements

Conduct regular inspection of workplace and recommend and implement reasonably practical control measures

Maintain an existing Job Safety Analysis (JSA)program, Emergency Action Plan, Legal Register, and Risk Management System

Ensure Emergency Response plans are in proper working conditions and coordinating emergency drills

Conduct activities related to environmental compliance, reporting, regulatory permitting, hazardous waste handling, and waste reduction/recycling programs

Oversee maintenance of all EHS records, reports, permits, and training documentation.

Monitor subcontractors' compliance with safety and environmental requirements.

Support internal and external EHS audits

Prepare monthly safety committee meetings, reporting safety metrics, and departmental safety audits

Demonstrate high standards of conduct and integrity

Additional duties as required by management

Job Requirements:

Diploma in Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field with WSQ Advanced Cert (Level B) in WSH

Ability to work in cross-functional teams with diverse backgrounds and skill sets

Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

Good knowledge of ISO-14001 and ISO-45001 Management Systems

Good knowledge of Singapore EHS legal requirements

Strong documentation skills with revision control

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Certified Work-at-Height Supervisor and Lifting Supervisor preferred
