CARPENTER

Measure, cut, and assemble wood, plywood, and other materials for furniture, cabinetry, and other wood structures with precision

Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and technical specifications to ensure accurate construction

Operate power tools, hand tools, and measurement equipment safely and effectively (e.g., saws, hammers, rulers)

Cut and shape timber or other materials according to specific measurements and job requirements

Perform installation and finishing work for custom-made furniture and fittings

Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area

Ensure work is completed to a high standard of quality and within the project timeline

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in furniture carpentry or related field

Able to read and interpret technical drawings or blueprints

Good physical condition and ability to perform manual work

Familiar with safe handling and operation of carpentry tools and machinery

Positive working attitude, responsible, and a good team player
