Electrical Engineer / Technician

An established and growing LEW firm is seeking an Electrical Engineer / Technician to join our team on a full-time basis in the Tai Seng area. You will support the installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and maintenance of electrical systems across various projects while ensuring compliance with relevant technical and safety requirements.

Key responsibilities

Carry out installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment

Conduct site inspections and assessments to identify electrical requirements and potential issues

Troubleshoot electrical faults and implement appropriate corrective actions

Prepare and review electrical drawings, schematics and technical documentation

Support electrical design, power distribution and control system works where required

Coordinate with project teams, contractors, clients and other stakeholders

Ensure works comply with applicable electrical regulations, specifications and workplace safety requirements

Maintain accurate records of work performed, test results and project progress

What we're looking for

Nitec, Higher Nitec, Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a related discipline

Minimum 1 year of relevant hands-on experience in electrical engineering, installation, testing or maintenance

Good knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution and control systems

Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and technical documentation

Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a project team

Good communication and coordination skills

Attend to site work, including climbing, bending and handling tools and equipment where required

Familiarity with CAD, electrical design software or relevant engineering applications would be advantageous

Relevant electrical certifications or experience in automation, industrial control systems or related electrical works would be advantageous
