Senior Architect

architects61 is seeking an experienced and highly accomplished  Senior Architect  to lead architectural project from concept through completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, technical expertise, project management capabilities, and the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and client relationships. The Senior Architect will be responsible for establishing design direction, ensuring technical and regulatory compliance, coordinating with consultants and stakeholders, and delivering projects to the required standards of quality, budget, and schedule.

Key Responsibilities

·       Lead the architectural design and delivery of complex, large-scale projects from concept to completion

·       Develop and oversee design concepts, detailed design through construction stage

·       Provide strategic leadership and ensure consistency of design intent throughout all project stages

·       Manage multidisciplinary coordination with Consultants

·       Lead client presentations, design reviews, coordination meetings, and authority submissions etc

·       Review architectural drawings, specifications, design reports, material selections, and technical documentation

·       Ensure designs comply with applicable Singapore building codes, authority requirements and relevant industry standards

·       Monitor project progress, design deliverables, resources, budgets, and schedules in coordination with the project team

·       Provide technical guidance and resolve complex architectural related issues

·       Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor implementation of the approved design and resolve site-related architectural issues

·       Lead and coordinate tender processes, evaluation, recommendation and award processes

·       Nurture and mentor junior team members, promoting professional development and high-quality design standards

Required Qualifications

·       Architectural degree recognized by Board of Architects Singapore or equivalent

·       Minimum 15 years of post-graduate experience in Singapore

·       Registration with Board of Architects Singapore preferred

·       Proven experience managing large-scale, complex, or multidisciplinary projects

·       Good knowledge of Singapore building codes and regulations, and construction standards

·       Excellent knowledge of architectural documentation and construction processes

·       Strong client-facing, presentation, communication skills.
