Manufacturing Engineer – Aerospace MRO

Location: Loyang, Singapore

Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm

Salary: Up to S$6,000 per month

The Opportunity

We are seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer to join an aerospace MRO environment supporting the production and repair of complex mechanical components.

In this role, you will work closely with shop-floor teams to solve technical challenges, improve manufacturing performance and ensure products and processes consistently meet the required standards. You will also contribute to engineering changes, new product introduction and continuous improvement initiatives.

What You'll Be Doing

Serve as the technical engineering partner to production teams, providing timely support for day-to-day manufacturing challenges.

Troubleshoot issues involving mechanical components, assembly processes and production methods.

Investigate defects, process deviations and recurring problems using structured root-cause analysis.

Develop practical solutions and follow through on corrective and preventive actions.

Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing yield, product reliability and process stability.

Work with shop-floor personnel to implement and sustain technical improvements.

Take ownership of assigned products or technical work packages and coordinate related engineering activities.

Support the transition of new products, process changes and engineering modifications into production.

Participate in product and process qualification activities where required.

Assist with investigations involving customer returns, quality issues and field-related findings.

Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Production and other functions to resolve complex technical matters.

Prepare and maintain engineering records, work instructions, technical reports and other manufacturing documentation.

Contribute to Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement projects aimed at improving efficiency and reducing process variation.

Ensure manufacturing solutions and engineering activities comply with relevant aerospace quality, safety and regulatory requirements.

What We're Looking For

Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Manufacturing Engineering or a related engineering discipline.

Around 3–5 years of relevant engineering experience.

Experience in manufacturing, MRO, precision engineering or mechanical production is preferred.

Understanding of Lean Manufacturing, process improvement or similar methodologies.
