Job Position: Accounts Assistant

Key duties andresponsibilities

1.     Assist in AR & AP accounting duties

2.     Performing day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, recording

bank documentations and filing of documents

3.     Generate monthly reports detailing accounts receivable status and end of period account closing

activities, sending bill reminders & contacting customers on due invoices if any

4.     Ensured that all vendor invoices are processed on a timely basis

5.     Generate monthly reports detailing accounts payable status and end of period account closing

activities

6.     Ensure continuous improvement of processes

7.     Attention to detail and communication abilities

8.     Basic phone calls, emails manners required

9.     All other duties as assigned.

Required/Preferred Skills:

-Certificate in Nitec/Diploma in Accounting or other relevant certificate

-PC literate with Microsoft Excel and Xero accounting software

-Basic accounting principles and key finance terms

-Minimum 1 year of relevant experience

-Ability to work both independently and / or within a team environment
