Engineer (Electrical)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Electrical Engineer to support the design, installation, and maintenance of fire protection electrical systems. This role offers hands-on experience and growth opportunities within the fire safety industry.

Responsibilities

Assist in designing, laying out, and installing fire protection electrical systems, including fire alarms, to meet project specifications

Support senior engineers by conducting site inspections, performing system testing, and assisting in commissioning activities

Prepare, update, and maintain accurate technical documentation and electrical drawings for fire protection projects

Troubleshoot and resolve electrical system issues to ensure reliable operation and compliance with safety standards

Coordinate effectively with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams to facilitate timely and smooth project execution

Ensure all electrical work complies with relevant safety regulations and industry standards

Required competencies and certifications

Diploma/NITEC/Higher NITEC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

Preferred competencies and qualifications

Experience or knowledge in fire alarm or fire protection systems

Strong communication skills to collaborate within teams and with external partners

Positive attitude with willingness to learn and adapt to evolving project requirements

Ability to work independently and contribute effectively in a team environment
