Merchandiser

Key Responsibilities

Merchandising

Check product expiry dates and ensure products are well-stocked at assigned outlets.

Maintain proper product displays and stock rotation based on FIFO principles.

Ensure Point of Sale Materials (POSM) and price cards are displayed correctly.

Sales & Store Operations

Monitor product pricing and inventory levels in line with sales performance.

Execute sales plans and maintain good relationships with customers to support sales and brand visibility.

Provide regular feedback on sales performance, store displays and competitor activities.

Identify opportunities to secure additional secondary displays and improve product visibility.

Support campaign activities, including arrangements for display space and promotional activities.

Perform other duties as assigned by the Reporting Officer or Head of Department.

Requirements

Minimum secondary school qualification or equivalent.

1–2 years of relevant experience in merchandising, retail or FMCG preferred.

Able to work independently and manage assigned outlets effectively.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsible, proactive and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Able to perform physical merchandising duties, including moving, arranging and replenishing products at retail outlets.

Comfortable travelling between assigned retail outlets.

Basic knowledge of merchandising and FIFO principles would be an advantage.
