We are looking for a visionary Lead Software Engineer to lead a cross-functional team of software and AI engineers in building an end-to-end intelligent supply chain platform. You will combine strong software engineering and AI/ML expertise with supply chain knowledge to develop solutions that improve forecasting, procurement and logistics operations.

What You’ll Do

Lead the architecture and development of AI-driven solutions across demand forecasting, procurement, warehousing and logistics.

Develop predictive models and optimisation engines to improve inventory levels, purchasing decisions, warehouse utilisation and delivery efficiency.

Lead and mentor software and AI/ML engineers, driving engineering best practices, system architecture and MLOps.

Transform legacy business processes through AI, automation and Design Thinking.

Work directly with customers and business stakeholders to understand challenges and translate them into scalable technology solutions.

Drive projects from concept and solution design through implementation and deployment, ensuring measurable business outcomes and ROI.

Build and integrate AI solutions with enterprise platforms such as SAP, Oracle and WMS.

Champion a collaborative, innovative and high-performance engineering culture.

What We’re Looking For

Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering or related disciplines.

At least 5 years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years in AI/ML development.

Proven experience leading technical teams and complex, multi-phase projects.

Strong Python expertise and hands-on experience with AI/ML development.

Experience in time-series forecasting and optimisation techniques.

Knowledge of databases, data lakes/data platforms such as Databricks.

Strong understanding of supply chain, inventory, procurement, warehousing and logistics.

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP, containerisation and MLOps/CI/CD.

Experience integrating AI solutions with ERP or WMS platforms is highly advantageous.
