Responsibilities

Build,repair, assemble and test electrical and electro-mechanical components,assemblies and subassemblies using work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams andinstructions.

Performtroubleshooting and repairs, identify issues and make the necessarycorrections.

Use testequipment such as electronic measuring tools, leak detectors, vacuum pumps andtest fixtures to test components and assemblies.

Inspectparts for defects and ensure all required parts are available before assembly,testing or repair.

Record workprogress, labour details and other relevant information in the computer system.

Performbasic computer programming, software installation or equipment-related repairswhen required.

Complete anddocument finished work accurately.

Assist inimproving work and testing processes.

Follow allsafety, health and security procedures and maintain a clean and safe workenvironment.

Report anyaccidents, injuries, safety hazards or emergencies promptly to the supervisoror Safety Department.

Attendrequired safety training and use equipment and protective gear appropriately.
