Piping Supervisor

Job Summary

You will perform hands-on tasks in water treatment piping systems, including thermoplastic piping, pipe fit-up, welding supervision, pipe cutting and bending, support fabrication, and ISO drawing interpretation to ensure accurate and safe installation.

Responsibilities

Apply solvent cementing techniques to join PVC and CPVC pipes accurately for water treatment systems.

Execute butt fusion, socket fusion, and electrofusion welding on HDPE, PP, and PVDF pipes to create secure, leak-proof joints.

Perform mechanical jointing using flanges and compression fittings to assemble piping components reliably.

Conduct pipe fit-up, alignment, and positioning during complex installations to ensure precise assembly and system integrity.

Prepare and inspect pipe joints before welding to verify readiness and compliance with quality standards.

Assist or demonstrate tack welding and root pass techniques during urgent situations or training to maintain welding quality.

Supervise or assist in manual and mechanical pipe cutting, beveling, and bending to meet project specifications.

Fabricate and install pipe supports or guide teams to ensure correct spacing and support type for piping stability.

Interpret ISO drawings to accurately guide installation and fabrication activities according to design requirements.
