Position Title: Manual Lathe / Drilling Machinist

Working Location: Tuas Ave

Working Hours: 5 days (Mon - Fri, 8.00am - 5.30pm)

Salary Package: Basic salary up to $1,900 + OT + Variable Bonus

Duration: Permanent Role

Key Responsibilities

Operate manual lathe and drilling machines to produce parts according to job requirements.

Perform turning, facing, drilling, boring, threading, tapping, and other machining work.

Read and follow technical drawings, sketches, and work instructions.

Measure and check finished parts using measuring tools such as vernier calipers and micrometers.

Set up machines, tools, and workpieces before machining.

Ensure parts are completed accurately and meet quality standards.

Carry out basic machine maintenance and keep tools in good working condition.

Maintain a clean and safe work area.

Report machine issues, material defects, or quality problems to the supervisor.

Perform any other related duties as assigned.

Relevant experience in manual lathe, drilling, or general machining work.

Able to operate manual lathe and drilling machines safely.

Able to read basic technical drawings and use measuring tools.

Basic knowledge of machining processes and workshop practices.
