Job Description

Industry/ Organization Type: Building Materials

Position Title: Sales Executive

Working Location: Woodlands

Working Hours: 5 days (Mon – Fri, 8.30am – 5.30pm)

Salary Package: Basic salary up to $4,000 + Transport allowance up to $800 + Variable Bonus

Duration: Permanent Role

Key Responsibilities

Achieve sales targets set by management

Represent the company and develop strong knowledge of the construction industry

Proactively identify business opportunities and potential clients in the construction sector

Build and maintain good customer relationships by understanding client needs and providing suitable solutions

Evaluate and assess potential new customers and prepare relevant analysis

Develop and maintain a network of industry stakeholders (developers, consultants, architects, contractors, etc.)

Monitor project progress and provide updates on material requirements and forecasts

Communicate regularly with the management team on market trends, issues, and activities to support business planning

Communicate clearly with customers and ensure agreed terms are followed, including timely payments

Provide practical solutions based on customer requirements

Provide customer support, including guidance, training, and troubleshooting when needed

1–3 years of sales experience, preferably in construction or building materials industry

Skilled in using digital tools and systems

Strong problem-solving skills and able to think creatively to meet client needs

Having own transport is an added advantage.
