Project Director

Possess a recognized degree in Civil Engineering with at least twenty years of post-graduation relevant experience and of which at least five years as a Project Director in building projects.

Provide advice and guidance to Project Managers.

Monitor and certify payments to suppliers and sub-contractors.

Ensure sufficient resources for the project team in terms of organization structure/staffing, project financing and machinery investment/rental.

Resolve any issues that the Project Manager cannot resolve

Determine staffing and suitability of key personnel in the Project Team, namely Project Manager and Deputy Project Manager.

Provide technical and engineering support to the Project Managers.

Identify and assess any foreseeable risks arising from the workplace or work processes.

Take reasonably practical measures to eliminate any foreseeable risk to any person at the workplace.

Ensure safe work procedures are implemented to control risks.

Represent the Organization on important issues pertaining to the project.

Attend project meetings with clients and consultants.
