Purchasing Executive (Marine)

Responsibility:

Help in sourcing and acquiring quotes from vendors.

Create and send out purchase orders.

Check in with vendors regarding lead times, deliveries, and order status.

Maintain track of price lists, supplier relationships, and purchase information.

Work together with internal departments to comprehend the needs for purchases.

Verify deliveries and address any inconsistencies with suppliers.

Assistance in keeping an eye on inventory levels and restocking requirements.

Requirements

NITEC, Higher NITEC, a diploma, or a comparable credential.

Any prior expertise in purchasing, administration, or a similar industry is advantageous.

Strong teamwork and communication abilities.

Fundamental familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).

Well-organized, meticulous, and open to learning.

Knowledge of fundamental procurement procedures.

Interest in technical, offshore, or maritime fields.
