M&E Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities

Manage the commercial and contractual aspects of M&E works, including electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing and other building services packages.

Prepare and review cost estimates, budgets, Bills of Quantities (BQ), tender documents and pricing for M&E works.

Handle tendering and procurement activities, including sourcing quotations, evaluating subcontractor bids and negotiating commercial terms.

Conduct measurement and valuation of M&E works, including progress claims, variations, and final accounts.

Administer M&E subcontractor and supplier contracts, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, specifications and project timelines.

Identify, evaluate and manage variations, claims, Extension of Time (EOT) and other contractual matters related to M&E works.

Monitor project costs, prepare regular cost reports and forecasts, and advise the project team on commercial risks and cost control measures.

Liaise with clients, consultants, main contractors, subcontractors and suppliers to resolve commercial issues and ensure the successful financial completion of M&E works.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering/ QS/ Civil & Structural or related field
