WSH Officer

Responsibilities

Monitor and implement workplace safety and health practices at construction sites to ensure compliance with WSH regulations, company policies and project requirements.

Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits and Risk Assessments (RA) to identify hazards and ensure appropriate control measures are implemented.

Review and monitor Safe Work Procedures (SWP), method statements and permit-to-work requirements for high-risk construction activities.

Conduct toolbox meetings, safety briefings, WSH training and safety campaigns to promote safety awareness and safe work practices among workers and contractors.

Investigate workplace incidents, accidents and near misses, identify root causes and recommend corrective and preventive measures.

Liaise with project teams, subcontractors and relevant authorities on WSH matters, while maintaining safety records, inspection reports, incident reports and other required documentation.

Requirements

Min Diploma or relevant qualification in Workplace Safety and Health, Occupational Safety, or a related discipline.
