Network Engineer (CCNA Required)

Responsibility

Design, implement, configure, and support enterprise network infrastructure across projects and day-to-day operations.

Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, and wireless network solutions.

Support and maintain LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, VPN, and Internet connectivity services.

Manage and support network security technologies, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and network access control solutions.

Monitor network performance, conduct capacity planning, and perform optimization and performance tuning.

Support high-availability network environments, including business continuity and disaster recovery requirements.

Investigate and resolve complex network incidents, including conducting root cause analysis (RCA) and implementing corrective actions.

Work closely with internal teams, technology vendors, and service providers to troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues.

Create and maintain network documentation, architecture diagrams, SOPs, configuration records, and technical reports.

Participate in network deployment, migration, upgrade, and technology refresh projects.

Provide L2/L3 network support and participate in on-call or after-hours support when required.

Ensure network infrastructure complies with established security policies, governance requirements, and operational standards.

Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirement

2 – 5 years of relevant experience in network engineering, network administration, implementation, or infrastructure support.

Strong hands-on knowledge of Cisco Catalyst and Nexus switching platforms.

Solid understanding of enterprise routing protocols, including BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.

Experience with MPLS, VPN, and SD-WAN technologies.

Good knowledge of network security, wireless networking, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, and QoS.

Hands-on experience with enterprise firewall platforms such as Fortinet, Palo Alto, or Cisco Firepower.

Experience with hybrid cloud networking across AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud will be an advantage.

Network certifications such as CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or JNCIA are preferred.
