Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities

Gather business requirements from stakeholders across retail, corporate, or investment banking sectors.

Translate complex financial processes into clear technical specifications, user stories, and functional workflows.

Map "as-is" and "to-be" workflows to identify process bottlenecks and improve core banking operations.

Ensure all technical solutions align with local and global financial regulations, compliance laws, and risk frameworks.

Collaborate closely with IT developers and system architects to ensure software solutions meet business goals.

Define test cases and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business users before system deployment.

Analyze large banking datasets using SQL or data visualization tools to support strategic decision-making.

Manage project scopes and change requests, acting as the primary link between the business side and tech teams.

💡 Skills and Qualifications

Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of banking operations, such as credit lending, payments, wealth management, trade finance, or anti-money laundering (AML).

Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL, data mapping, Microsoft Visio, and agile tools like Jira or Confluence.

Methodologies: Proven experience working in Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall project frameworks.

Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, strong stakeholder management, and clear communication abilities.
