Optics Engineer (Semiconductor Equipment)

Design, develop, and optimize optical and illumination systems to support semiconductor manufacturing and inspection applications.

Investigate and resolve optical performance issues through testing, analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Evaluate existing vision and imaging systems, recommending enhancements to improve accuracy, reliability, and operational efficiency.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate optical solutions, validate system performance, and support new product development.

Requirements

Degree in Optical Engineering, Physics, Photonics, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.

At least 2 years of experience in optical engineering, vision systems, illumination design, or semiconductor industries.

Proficient in optical design software, optical alignment, optical testing, and 2D CAD drafting.

Knowledge of high-magnification optics, LED illumination systems, lens specifications, optical design trade-offs, and basic optical modeling techniques.
