Early Childhood Educator (Chinese Language)

Job description:

Plan and implement early childhood curriculum to meet the physical, emotional and social, intellectual needs of the young children.

Provide activities, apparatus and equipment to support the various curriculum areas planned for the children.

Set-up a conducive, effective, and healthy learning environment for the children.

Provide a safe and clean learning environment for the care and development of the children in the centre

Maintain good classroom management.

Shower, feed, change diapers, and toilet train the younger children.

Monitor and ensure sick or recovering children take their medicine.

Supervise and manage the children during both indoors and outdoors activities.

Keep progress report and comprehensive portfolio of each child and provide input on the child’s development.

Build good rapport with parents including maintain regular communication with parents via LittleLives.

Build and maintain good rapport with colleagues and children.

Assist the Centre to meet all applicable statutory licensing regulations.

Review and recommend improvement to work processes and procedures whenever necessary

Requirements

Diploma in Early Childhood Development & Education or Advanced Certificate in Early Childhood Care & Education (ACECCE)

Certified by Early Childhood and Development Agency (ECDA) at L2 or L1 category

Preferably with 1-2 years of relevant work experience
