Junior Medical Lab Technologist (ID: 664737)

Our established client in the public healthcare sector is looking to hire Junior Medical Lab Technologists to join their growing team!

5.5 days office hours

Training Provided

Annual AWS + Performance Bonus (3-4 months)

Responsibilities

Perform lab operations following standard procedures (SOPs).

Conduct phlebotomy, ECG, spirometry, and various clinical lab tests (e.g., blood, urine, glucose tests).

Ensure proper handling, identification, and storage of test specimens.

Operate and maintain lab equipment; report malfunctions or arrange servicing.

Use the Laboratory Information System (LIS) for data entry and tracking results.

Perform quality control, calibrations, and troubleshooting for equipment and test results.

Report critical values promptly and maintain accurate records.

Follow safety, hygiene, and regulatory standards (e.g., IPSG, ISO).

Provide excellent customer service to patients, doctors, and colleagues.

Assist with other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

Diploma in Biomedical Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field.

1-2 years of relevant experience in lab setting with phlebotomy skills is preferred.

Proficient in computer skills.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
