Project Tracking & Governance:
Monitor and report on project status, timelines, deliverables, budget, and resource allocation to ensure successful delivery of Data Engineering projects.
Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain and update standard PMO documentation, including RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies), status reports, change requests, and meeting minutes to support project transparency.
Stakeholder Coordination:
Serve as the central liaison between technical data engineering teams, product owners, and business stakeholders to facilitate clear communication and alignment.
Agile & Waterfall Facilitation:
Support Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, and project status reviews using tools like Jira, Confluence, and MS Project to enhance team productivity.
Financial & Resource Management:
Assist in tracking project budgets, invoices, resource utilization, and vendor engagement metrics to support financial oversight and resource planning.
Compliance & Governance:
Ensure all data engineering initiatives comply with regulatory, compliance, and internal governance frameworks relevant to the banking industry.
Required competencies and certifications
2–4 years of PMO or Project Coordination experience.
Conceptual knowledge of Data Engineering concepts such as ETL pipelines, data warehousing, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and data governance.
Proficiency with project management tools including Jira, Confluence, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, or Power BI.
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Prior experience working in Banking, Financial Services, or Fintech environments.
