Production Engineer | Rifle Range | Up to $3800 | 5 Days #5252

1 year contract (renewable/ convertible)

Working Location: Rifle Range Army Camp (nearest MRT: King Albert Park)

Working Hours: Mon-Fri (7.30am - 5.15pm) + Cover shift if required

Salary range: up to $3800 + Completion Bonus

Job Responsibilities:

Support the Engineering Design department during the product development phase by providing technical and manufacturing expertise

Design and develop production tooling, fixtures, and gauges to support new product introduction and manufacturing requirements

Evaluate and optimize existing manufacturing processes to improve productivity, efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness

Identify production bottlenecks, troubleshoot equipment issues, and coordinate corrective maintenance activities to minimize downtime

Assist in production trial runs and collaborate with the Quality Control team to conduct process capability studies and validate manufacturing processes

Prepare technical specifications, conduct supplier sourcing, and oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of new machinery and equipment

Conduct On-the-Job Training (OJT) for production personnel to ensure compliance with established manufacturing procedures and operational standards

Prepare, maintain, and update technical documentation, including certifications, approvals, commissioning reports, and machine operating procedures

Monitor production performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing operations

Ensure compliance with workplace health, safety, and environmental regulations while promoting a safe working environment

Job Requirements:

Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Mechatronic/Industrial Engineering

Minimum 2 years relevant experience in manufacturing/production industry

Basic ability to read and interpret technical drawings

Basic proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks
