Quantity Surveyor

Job Responsibilities

Prepare quantity take-offs and cost estimation for ceiling works (gypsum, mineral fibre, metal ceiling, etc.)

Prepare and manage Bills of Quantities (BOQ)

Source and evaluate quotations from ceiling subcontractors and suppliers

Assist in tender submission and pricing strategy

Administer subcontract packages, including contract preparation and award

Monitor and evaluate progress claims from subcontractors

Prepare and submit main contractor progress claims

Manage and price variation orders (VO)

Track project costs and ensure works are within budget

Liaise with project team, consultants, and subcontractors for coordination (especially with M&E services)

Prepare and finalize project final accounts

🎯 Requirements

Diploma / Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, or related field

Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience in construction (ceiling / interior works preferred)

Strong knowledge of ceiling systems and finishing trades

Familiar with Singapore construction practices and standards

Proficient in AutoCAD, Excel, and measurement software

Good negotiation and communication skills

Able to work independently and meet deadlines
